After eating at Stix, we decided to take the evening to D&Bs. I challenged my friend Jessie to a game of giant bowling, but she hurt her back last time so it was a no go. Four upper-twenties ladies can have a lot of old fashioned fun at an adult arcade. I love the skee ball, and we spent at least 20 minutes dropping coins into a machine and then the machine pushes coins down and you get tickets. There was a huge bear claw and I couldn't win, but a ten-year-old kid won like three giant stuffed animals and I am pretty sure he did it just to taunt me. The best thing at D&Bs is the photo splising machine that will spew an image of two people's potential child after taking individual pictures of them. We have doen this before and it is hilarious to see the creatures that come out. I say that kindly. I have eaten and D&Bs before and was really suprised that the food was actually good. It is the perfect place to channel your inner arcade nerd.

I normally hate games. Board games, video games, you name it. It's just not a type of competition I enjoy -- probably not helped by the fact I have friends who are TOO competitive and resort to name calling and personal attacks if I do too well by some stroke of luck. That being said, I've had nothing but fun at Dave & Busters. Even on a Friday night, I've gone with my handsome beau and another good friend, and sat at the bar, then just wandered around and played some skee ball, some big game hunter, and virtual bowling. Totally low key, and extra fun because there's booze involved. I've also been for a few parties with my office, and they have always had our table ready when we arrive, and we've had really good service. The food isn't all that bad either. I've had a random assortment of things, including wings, egg rolls and nachos, and it was good quality bar fare. Unless you are spending boucoup bucks, you're not going to get anything too fantastic from the prize room, but they can add your tickets to your card that holds your money/tokens, and you can save them up if you really want that giant Pikachu stuffed animal. All in all, Dave & Busters is an entertaining place to go at Legends, and is really fun, whether you're competitive or not!

First of all, let me say that when we visited D&B's, the weather was crummy. It was a cold, rainy, windy Wednesday this April. So this probably affected our visit. Now that we have that out of the way... time for surgery... I mean the review... My lady and I drove to the Legends for a movie and dinner date. Walked up to D&B's and were told to just find a seat. Sat at a booth. The place was appealing to me. I liked the atmosphere so that was nice. Our waitress was nice enough. We did the meal and game card deal. The lady also had a Boulevard Wheat which was $1 off. Still ended up being just under $6. Yikes. Our meals were fine. I think she had something called chicken rockafeller or something and I had the chicken tenders. They were solid. Presentation was nice, not that I care but just saying. For two dollars more we got a super charge or something on our cards giving us more credits. We also gave a dollar to whatever charity they were hocking on us. When we did that we got a coupon for either $5 in credits or an appetizer. I don't even remember what we chose. All in all the meal was $47.xx, close to $60 after tip. Onto the games... I'll admit, the whole playing games for "credits" thing is confusing to me. On Wednesdays, their games are half price, which is basically the reason I wanted to go on Wednesday in the first place. Standard games you can play for more than 2 minutes are probably the best bet. Games where you basically hit a single button and hope to win a load of tickets were 5.0 credits, games where you typically didn't win as many tickets were 2.9 or 2.1. I hate this system. I wish they'd make it a flat credit amount. The game selection is pretty standard. I noticed there's a lot of games made for mobile phones that were now arcade games. I thought that was weird, but oh well. I went there to play claw/crane games. You know, where you have the claw that you maneuver with the joystick and drop it on stuffed animals and try to grab one. Those games. They had a couple machines that had jewelry and whatnot but had a weak claw, so I didn't play that one too many times, they have their big claw but the prizes were stuffed in too snug to win. The only machine worth playing, in my opinion, is a machine that is one big open case but has 3 joysticks. This machine also stuffed the prizes to make it close to impossible to win. After we discovered this, I decided the best plan of attack was to just try to play the quick one hit of a button/pull of a lever/spin of a wheel games to win tickets and try to get something from the prize cave. The games with the potential to get a lot of tickets are the highest costing since it makes sense for profit. 2 and a half hours and $70 later (the ladyfriend reloaded her card for $10) we left with a set of 90s TV trivia cards that you can probably buy in a mall for $5. It was a fairly enjoyable time. I could see it being more fun with a group of friends on a better night. I actually didn't mind that it was dead since we pretty much had our pick of games whenever we wanted. I'll be giving this place a 2nd chance at some point since I do miss the days of being a kid and going to the arcade but for now, I'm just going to classify D&B's as "OK".

Dave and Buster's have always been one of those places that I fantasize about going to on a Saturday night, it being totally packed, and just ready to take a big group and have a great time. I have not been here for about 2 years and I was so excited to be going out again to this awesome place. When I walked in the doors I had that same thrill I had a couple years ago but slowly that feeling went away. We went to go sit in the game room and there were only about 6 four seater booths and 1 large booth. All of the high top tables were missing and almost every spot was filled. (We had 5 people) Finally we just went ahead and took one of the tall stools and just stuck it on the end of the a booth and called it good. Ok so so far not the best experience but it will be fine once we can get some food and drinks. It took forever to get our waitress to come to our table and still from that point on we still rarely saw her. It was very disappointing that she was not more available. However when she was around she was doing a good job. The food was one of the better points of the night. I loved the the appetizer that we got. We decided to order the pretzel bites. Omgosh they were the most amazing ones I have had and they came with brown mustard, honey mustard, and cheese, so yummy. For my meal I ordered the terriyake sirloin steak. It was amazing! The steak was cooked perfectly and it was so juicy and tender. The mashed potatoes that came with it were amazing too. Very fluffy with cheese and bacon. I also was able to try my husbands parmesean chicken sandwhich which was very good too. I don't like something too breaded and it had the perfect amount of breading. It was delicious. I also tried some of the buffalo chicken sandwhiches and the sweet potatoe fries. I have to say that all the food is really great. I also was really pleased with the games that they had. I only put $35 on my game play card and that lasted me about two maybe two and a half hours. I had a great time running around and just choosing from all of the random games that they have. My experience was overall balanced out between what I had remebered to what they still had and therefore I will probably still come back but next time I think I will just get a seat in the dining room side or at the bar.
We took advantage of the Eat and Play combo at the recommendation of our server. He was very informative and wanted us to get the biggest bang our buck! I ordered the Island Grilled Trifecta for $26.99 (which included the $20 power play card). The dish had an abundance of flavor and spiciness which I enjoyed. Happy hour is Mon-Fri from 4:30pm-7pm so that was a nice bonus. We did come across some broken games, but the technician was quick to help and gave us a free game. Overall, this is a fun place to eat, drink and play!

This place was awesome! We pretty much had a three day family reunion here. We had breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Dave and Buster's! Who would've thought? I thought it was only for gaming, but the games did allow the kids to eat and then go play. We were in a banquet room and were able to dance and have a program. I had only been to Dave and Buster's one time before, I wasn't impressed because I don't play games but I now have a different view of Dave and Buster's.

Dave & Buster's is a virtual playground for those of all ages, all though I think they want to cater to the adult crowd more than the kiddy crowd. This spot is part restaurant / sports bar and then part arcade. The restaurant's walls (and parts of the ceiling) are covered with tvs that are tuned to any and every game on the docket. While we were there they were tuned to La Liga and English Premier League soccer and Major League Baseball. I bet football season is a trip. The menu was decently thick with varying levels of entrees depending on what you want to spend. It was mostly Americanized comfort food with some Italian offerings sprinkled in. Not bad, but nothing to write home about and little pricier then maybe they should be. The main attraction were the different drink options for the adult customers. Big beers, slushies, craft cocktails and margaritas were all on the menu. All, but one of us had beers, but the one had a couple of margaritas. He said one was good, but sent another back to be remixed because it was too "syrup heavy." Anyway, food for thought. One decent criticism I have concerning the restaurant is how the tables are laid out... or maybe how they are not laid out. When we entered the host gentleman told us to sit anywhere, so we did. Then we found out that somebody was already sitting there, but they were down playing video games while their food was cooking. We moved to another table and ran into the same problem. After playing hopscotch for a bit we finally settled on a table that nobody had claimed. While we were waiting to order one of us went to the restroom, grabbed some paper towels and wrote, "TABLE TAKEN. WE'RE DRINKING AND PLAYING VIDEO GAMES. COME SAY HI IF YOU WANT, PLEASE PLEASE DON'T TAKE OUR TABLE," which we left while our food was cooking. I think Dave & Busters should have some placards to mark whether or not the table was taken or have a host there to verify who is sitting where. Anyway... Now, on to the games. I remember there being more "adult" options before, but times do change. By "adult," I meant maybe some more realistic games such as Batman or Star Wars where you're controlling the characters more or piloting the ships. There now seem to be a raging plethora of racing games, mixed in with some Aliens-type shooting games and old favorites such as skee ball, etc... I kind of wish there might have been some old early 90s games such as X-Men, The Simpsons or even Bad Dudes, but alas, only an old Ms. Pacman. We did have good time on those racing games racing for bragging rights, which we exerted on the ride home. There looks to be an upstairs deck level, which I'm not sure what it contains other than maybe an upstairs bar, but it wasn't open while we were there. To close, Dave & Busters is packed full of fun, but please be aware, you're going to pay for it. Literally and figuratively.

Bottom Line Up Front: Where adults can act like kids... while drinking adult beverages = a great time. Revamped patio-bar upstairs is awesome. Great drink choices. A lot of food choices of decent quality. I laugh at those who gave this place a bad review based just on the food. If you are going here solely to eat dinner, that's your own fault. The food here is not great but it is not bad. It's like eating at a Chili's or Applebee's. It has an extensive food and drink menu. I've eaten at D&B's at several different locations and I've always had a good experience; their Parmesan chicken alfredo is great, IMO. But, this place serving food is more of a novelty than anything else. They would do well if all they served was alcohol. This location has recently upgraded their decor drastically! It looks awesome inside; very modern and inviting set up with bright white lights as decor and new naming conventions for specific areas. The new games are great, too. Red Cup challenge (beer pong)? Hell ya. Such an awesome game and I am jealous I was not the one who created this gem. It is also hysterical watching kids play and talking to their parents about how they don't even know they are practicing for 10-15 years down the line. The different amount of games offered here can be overwhelming at times. Just load that card up with $56 and go to town. I wish I lived closer to this place so I can come here on Wednesday's since all the games are half off. Oh, how I miss my college days in Houston. I got my iPod Touch and Xbox 360 from here... thanks to one game that my friend and I figured out how to win all the time. On top of all the games, the drinks here are awesome. The new watermelon coronarita's are a must try if you like Corona's and/or margaritas. Another thing that's new is they finally started promoting their upstairs patio-bar. I've been up there once and was very surprised at how it looked. Lounge chairs overlooking the balcony, high tops scattered everywhere, and three free pool tables. Live music on the weekends, too. The patio is only for those 21 and up which is nice. You can't really go wrong with this place. Sucks for those who had a bad experience. Maybe I am a true kid at heart and still find these games to be exciting to play with friends and understand that the food here isn't going to blow my mind. Plus, I can have a drink in my hand while I act like a kid again. The games become more fun too after a few drinks. If you're in the Legends area, come check this place out, especially if you are 21 or older.

Lunch with my son today. I had the rib and chicken plate. He had the shrimp, steak and chicken kabob. Both of the meals were good considering we didn't expect great for the setting. We were both actually surprised. Very nice sports themed bar when you first enter. High quality tvs and clean, modern look. Great environment for families, kids and adults. There was some kind of disaster in the men's room today due to a plumbing problem. And the smell was pretty bad. I'm pretty certain this was an anomaly. Overall good time. If you're going to game, do the combo play with your meal.

Not bad. If you've been to a Dave and Busters before .. it's like like any other. The food was good, the restaurant and gaming place is kid friendly, and they have multiple games on the TV by the bar. Your traditional shuffle boards are present and most games are adult oriented (not in a NC-17 way). The service at the bar and food area were quick and everybody was attentive to our needs. I wish they didn't put us in a very small table at the restaurant when there are other bug tables available but I guess one can always ask to switch to a different table if it bothers them. The place is clean and we'll appointed. 3 stars for making customers wait at the front, overcrowded, and arcade selection. Not bad and will most likely will return.

We have never been to a Dave & Buster's. I have to say the experience was outstanding! Our server was attentive and made sure drinks were topped off, plates were removed, etc. the manager stopped by our table a couple of times to make sure we were doing well. The restaurant was very clean. It was a busy Friday night, but we never had to wait. A word of advice...if you are going to stay and play the games, purchase more credits than you think you will need. They go fast. We are huge fans and will DEFINITELY be back.

This place is all about ambience. If you are in the mood for noise, bright lights, lots of action, games, laughing and music, then it's great. Luckily that mood hits me a few times a year and I always thoroughly enjoy myself. Came here to celebrate a friends birthday and we three girls had a blast. Started off with lunch and then moved on to some gaming. I had the buffalo chicken sliders (They have a cute-sy name for them, but I've forgotten it already) and thought they were perfect. Another friend had the fried chicken strips and brought half of them home because the serving was really generous. Our birthday girl chose to have the apple pecan salad and kept raving about it. Pretty much standard bar food, up to par with Applebees. We burned through our gaming cards pretty quickly (it's easy to do that since all the games have different 'credit costs'). Some games give tickets, others do not. In the end the three of us were able to redeem our credits for one roll of Sweet Tarts. Ha! Just realize going in that you're definitely here for the fun of it, not the prizes!

Dave & Buster's is a fun distraction on occasion. The food is decent kind of on the Applebee's level, but pricier. Service is pretty good. The burgers are okay and the fries are decent. Club sandwich is pretty good too. We've been here a few times, twice for work parties, a few more times just killing time waiting for a movie to start or waiting for friends. The games are a lot of fun and they have a variety. They have games that are more adult driven like the shooter games and racing games. They also have the games for small children and teenagers. Like most arcades you can accumulate tickets and turn the in for a variety of prizes. They have glass tumblers, magic eight balls, other random stuff you would find an arcade. The staff both in the restaurant and in the arcade are good. They keep drinks fullnin the bar and restaurant area. If you have an issue with the game not accepting tokens or taking the tokens and not letting you play they will reset the game and give you your tokens back. I recommend this place just to kill a few hours or have some fun, it is family-friendly.

I think it has been literally 10 years since I stepped foot inside a D&B. A super cool concept to the 20s me, it's not a place that 30s me ever thinks to head to. I was, however, meeting a friend out near KCK and this is one of the fewer places open late on a weeknight. There were some absurdly cheap happy hour prices in effect (after 9pm, I think?) and I did what I wanted to do: play pool (badly) on a very nice table.

Dana the hostess was in a foul mood. She tried to seat us at a table too small for our party. When we pointed out a bigger table she mumbled under her breath and angrily snatched the silverware from the table and lumbered over to the appropriately sized table. Our server was unfamiliar with the menu and we had to point out options that were listed that she did not know about. When the food came, my double cheeseburger came with no cheese! When asked about this, she said she couldn't remember if I wanted cheese on it. She then put cold cheese on it and it was pretty bad. The game selection was pretty cool and we all had fun. However, 1 in 3 games had a problem. On one game, the gun was not aligned, so pointing to the far left of the screen put the crosshairs at the left 1/3 mark of the screen. Pointing to the right of the game cause the crosshairs to show up on the left. Another game had a Signal Lost message in the middle of the screen during the whole game. The Frogger game was glitchy and the jump button did not work properly. And so forth. The bar in the game room was not open, so I had to walk to the restaurant to get a beer. We ended up having a pretty good time, but we certainly did not feel welcome and the proprietors did not seem to care about quality, appearance, or training.

I went to Dave & Buster's to celebrate a birthday. We sat in the bar area and had dinner. The food is expensive for the quality, but it makes it a little better when you get the food on the menu where you get a play card too. The games have got expensive as well. There are some fun ones but it seems like they are spreading them out more so that there are not as many as before. All in all, it's good for every once in a great while...but I couldn't see making this a regular thing as it's just not worth it.

Since I'm inherently stupid, I tried to give D&B another chance (see my previous review, wherever the hell it is). The entire staff seemed to be competing finalists in a reality TV show along the lines of "America's Least Interested People." Gaining the attention of servers and hostesses was almost as impossible as telephoning the sun and convincing it to set sooner. Their food was served hot, but, once more, credit goes more towards the microwave responsible. Again, I'm not kidding about this restaurant's fascination with tossing objects into microwaves; I suspect they don't even employ chefs, just a big-ass conveyor belt that feeds everything directly into Ron Popeil's Food Zapper 2000. Nearly every person working there seemed more interested in talking with each other than communicating with paying customers. I had to practically throw roadside flares to attract any employee's attention. Tables were dirty, wet from the diseased rags used to displace remnant food chunks, and the white tile floor looked like it had last been mopped during the Carter administration. The men's room was festively decorated with urine puddles and doors lacking locks. On the plus side, many customers have apparently chosen to abandon their cups of beer in strategic locations around every toilet, so if you're looking to save money and get drunk while taking a dump, D&B's got ya covered. Heck, I'm sure they'll throw in a free case of hepatitis for you at absolutely no charge. The only reason I'm giving this two stars as opposed to one is solely due to the fact that I wasn't murdered at any point in time during my meal.

Dave and Busters has always been a great place to have fun with friends or family and while I did have fun here, the food was not good. Service was decent and was the only reason that this D&B got two stars instead of one. The Food: I ordered the Island Trifecta. The menu described and pictured the meal as three beef steak medallions skewered and wrapped in bacon, 6 skewered pieces of shrimp, and two skewered chicken tenderloins, with sides of seasoned rice and a vegetable medley. What I received instead were two strips of chicken and six pieces of shrimp as ordered, three tiny pieces of beef, not steak medallions and not wrapped in bacon. The rice had so many different seasonings in it that it tasted bitter. I couldn't even swallow it. The vegetable medley was actually a vegetable medley salsa, also not as pictured. The Entertainment: The entertainment at D&B was great and I had a lot of fun. You should expect to shell out a pretty nice chuck of change to play for a while, but if you're with friends it can be worth it. The prices are a little high and the prizes aren't amazing, but as I say it can be worth it with friends. The Verdict: I will return to Dave and Busters, and enjoy myself. I will not, however, get anything more complicated than a hamburger.

This was my first visit and it was a work function in the 'party room.' Based on my experience i would not go back again to Dave & Busters. It looks nice from the outside and the Chuck E. Cheese for adults theme was interesting but the food was below average in quality and above average in price. The service was only so-so. There's not much to recommend this place unless you are a fan of arcade type games. As one of my co-workers commented, Oceans of Fun is more fun and less expensive. Enough said.

I've been to Dave & Buster's a few times now and each experience has been different. Drink prices are pretty steep and they don't seem to really have specials unless I went on "off" nights. The games are great but you need a bajillion tickets in order to get a cool prize unless you want a pencil or a ring pop. I've been on a weekend night when the weather was nice and we were able to enjoy live music on the roof top patio and the band was really pretty good! Here is where my issue is and it occurred on my most recent visit. I think there needs to be a "curfew" for kids under 18 in this place. It was 10 PM on a weekend night and there were 2 and 3 year olds running all over the place and pretending to play games. I shouldn't have to wait to play skeeball because your kid is pretending to play when they should be home in bed. I have nothing against kids at Dave & Buster's but there needs to be boundaries and rules set in place. I don't think it's a proper place for kids to be after a certain time. I have fun here and there is always something to do, but it can be pricey so it's not an every weekend thing.

Games were awesome! I took kids from ages 7-15 and we all had a great time, even the adults. The food on the other had is something to be desired. The meat was tough and other dishes were just not that great. My kids had the chicken strips and those were pretty good. So if you go, get the simple food and play on the games. You will have a lot of fun.

Who needs alcohol? Dave and Buster's gets you drunk on FUN! Ok, ok. That's not my real review, but if it was I feel like Dave and Buster's should pay me for it. Last night a group of us heading to D&Bs for a friends birthday party, I haven't been to a Dave and Busters in I don't know how long, so I was kind of excited to let my inner child out and play arcade games for long hours. We ate first, which proved to be a mediocre experience. All of us at the table did one of the deals where you get a meal and a game card at a discount. I chose a 20.00 game card + entree which brought my total to 24.99 (instead of paying 12.00 for an entree and then purchasing a 20.00 game card separately). I'm glad I went that direction because my food didn't taste like it should be worth more than 4.99, no flavor at all. I don't think anyone at the table was satisfied with the way their food tasted. The only good thing about our dining experience was our server, Sarah, she is the reason this review isn't two stars. She joked around with us, always made sure our needs were met, and was all around great at her job. The games were fun, I ended up adding another $20.00 to my card (against the wishes of my mom's voice inside my head telling me to be wise with my money - ha). Not much else to say, I spent $40.00 on arcade games and walked away with a coffee mug that is probably only worth $3.00. Overall, it was a fun experience. If I come here again, I will probably choose to dine somewhere else ahead of time.

I have been here twice as a pit stop after getting off work. The first time was a one-and-done scenario. I tried the Green Tea Long Island and thought it was pretty tasty. The service was good and there were plenty of TVs behind the bar for me to catch up on the latest sports scores and news. The second time...well, let's just call it a joke. A co-worker came with me this time after I bragged about the Green Tea Long Island. We sit down and a young lady behind the bar walks up and says, "We are done serving." Not "Hello", "I'm sorry", "Try so-n-so around the corner who is open until 2AM", or anything remotely inviting or professional. As soon as she gave us the lay down of the law, a voice comes on over the loudspeaker and says, "Last call, we close in 15 minutes". Nice! So, we order our drinks. My buddy asks for 2 draft beers and I order the Green Tea Long Island. Another bartender pours my buddy's beers and brings them over, I am still sitting at the bar with a beverage napkin in front of me. The lady turns around and tells my buddy VERBALLY how much his 2 beers are and then tell me how much my drink is. Seriously? You are going to try to suck the money out of my pocket for the drink before I suck any of the drink out of a straw? After all, I have been here before...why are you verbalizing the drink prices to me instead of giving me a check? That's kind of shady to ask me to pay for a drink that I haven't even gotten yet. I promptly cancelled my drink order and let the young lady know that she is one of the rudest bartenders I have ever encountered. I ended up helping my buddy drink one of his beers and the other female bartender was helpful in telling us there was a sports bar down the street which was open until 2AM. On my way out the door I let the 2 managers at the host stand know what just happened. I am sorry you are barely 21 and your piss poor mood and whatever else is preoccupying your mind is more important than the main directive of your job...to give prompt and courteous service with high quality drinks and build a raving fan base. You missed on ALL marks young lady. If it weren't for my first trip being a favorable experience, this review would have been a whopping one star rating without a doubt.

I usually come here for the games. C'mon, everybody loves the nostalgic atmosphere of nearly impossible to win arcade games. It's fun. I enjoy embracing my inner child. Yet, I tend to not order food here. I don't know why, might be because I'm too distracted trying to fill the void in my childhood by winning prizes now! Although, I usually just walk away with a few pieces of candy. Nothing special, but the experience is always great.

As an arcade, we had a blast! But, as a restaurant, there were some issues. Our server was slightly absent for most of the evening, and my friend's steak was unimpressive. Also, make sure if you're going to eat, that you either do it towards the end of your evening or have somewhere to put your food (like back out in the car). The bar service was good as well and it seemed like the drink specials were worth it.

Samantha made a good call with the drinks being expensive and watered down. The bartenders also weren't the greatest either, they took a long time to get to us, even though it wasn't that busy and no one else was really in line. The bar was all wet and got my sleeve wet (NOT cool!). The top bar that is 21+ is pretty cool and casual, but the drinks were about the same- watered down. It's cool to watch everyone since you are on the 2nd floor, but it got old after a while. So we went back down to the arcade part and attempted to play some games. It just wasn't that fun...it was more creepy than anything because it was filled more with guys who probably still live in their parents' basement and have no job than the working-class happy hour crowd. We also got hit on by some high schoolers, and my friend made up this entire story about how we both we in high school too (which is sad that they believed it, since I'm 22 and had a drink in my hand) and that we were cheerleaders. It was funny, but sad at the same time and we finally were able to get away from them. The 'prizes' for winning the games are regular arcade prizes- cheesy rings, cards, and other assorted items you'll completely forget you have once you get home. It would have been cooler if they had more 'adult' prizes, like booze...or...booze, but I guess I'll just have to keep on dreamin'.

This was my first time going to a Dave and busters, so I was excited and ready to have fun. I was overwhelmed when i saw all the games that this place had to offer ( hey I'm a kid at heart and i love games). This feeling didn't last very long after we waited a ridiculous amount of time for our server. When she finally arrived she neglected to ask a member of our party for their drink order, and then disappeared. We almost had to trip her as she walked by at one point, just to get her to notice us. The food itself wasn't bad, but it honestly wasn't that great. I had the Parmesan Chicken sandwich, and honestly I've had almost the exact same that tasted the same, back in Highschool from the cafeteria. The french fries were... fries, what can I say, they were bad but weren't great. Now on to the whole reason everyone comes... The games. This place does have a lot of fun games, and the best part about the games is that they're affordable. I've been to other places like this and most other places charge you the equivalent of $2 per play, but here the most expensive game is around $1 a play. So, even if you have a bad food experience, you can have fun playing the games. To make a long list of ramblings, short and to the point. This place doesn't live up to the hype. The staff is non existent, the food is average, but the games are fun. If you want average food that you can find at a high school cafeteria, service that leaves you wanting more, and a gaming experience that can't compensate for the lack of the first two, then this is the place for you.

Went there and met some friends in the bar area. Service: In a word, slow. For no apparent reason either. There was one other table and maybe three people at the bar. I asked for the price of something, but the waitress didn't know. She went to check and never came back with an answer. She was nice, but just inexperienced I think. Food: The hot wings were a little mushy and there weren't many fries. Drinks: I had rum and Cokes. The first one was stout. After that I tasted less and less of the Rum. Not saying they watered them down. I'm just saying the strength varied quite a bit. The barkeeper seemed inexperienced to me so maybe that was it. I think maybe they're just relying on the games for return service, but I'm not much for those games.

I'm not sure how it's possible to ruin cheese dip and tortilla chips, but congratulations, D&B...you've made the impossible, possible. I didn't even order food after the appetizer experience. Dave and Busterâs is a giant restaurant, bar and arcade; it literally has something for everyone. I went to Dave and Busterâs recently and I had a great time, the food is delicious and the drinks are modestly priced, but the main attraction was the giant arcade that allotted my friends and I hours of fun. The way Dave and Busterâs arcade works, is that you buy a plastic card and fill it with points that you pay for. The more you buy at once, the better deal you get, and that way if you donât use them all you can keep the card and come back another time. Convenient and brilliant at the same time. The arcade in Dave and Busterâs is the biggest one Iâve ever seen. There are video games, interactive games, and gambling games. There are photo booths, group games, and life-sized âclawâ game where you try to win stuffed animals bigger than you. But if you want to find the true treasure of Dave and Busterâs, itâs a little game called âflaming Finger.â This simple, yet amazingly fun game is awesome. You put your card in and a screen of lighted dots will reveal a path. One the game starts you put your finger in the path and travel inside it, trying to get to the finish line as quickly as possible, racing a timer. If you go outside the path the time speeds up and near the end, time speeds up. We played that game for a good hour and only once did one of us finish. It is fun and difficult, but if you do succeed you are blessed with a very large sum of tickets, to buy any under priced, high-quality item form the prize shop you can afford!

When you think Dave and Busters it should put a BIG smile on your face! Well they have a lot of work to do at this one! My review is based on the restaurant, and gaming area......Pros: I won 500 tickets on the big wheel! There are a ton of games to choose from. The staff was friendly. Complimentary brownie if its your birthday. Memories are free! Cons: There is no red wine although its on the menu...The food wasn't the best quality, and they were very stingy. We ordered the loaded queso, and they gave us a portion of chips that was smaller than those that come out of a vending machine. I ordered the chicken tacos, and the bf ordered the steak ones. They came out with enough cheese to make you look at each other and go there kidding right? There wasn't enough to make one taco let alone the four. The chicken did not stay hot long enough so by the time you made all four tacos they where cold which made them taste bad. The cost for the meals and to play was extremely high given the quality of the food. My best advice is skip the food! Two stars for the fun one star for the food!

Our first visit will be the last (at this location). There were plenty of tables open in the full-seating area (but they told us we'd have to wait 20 minutes even though there was no one else waiting). And...the ladies at the front were talking to each other instead of taking care of us (we waited several minutes before we interrupted them and asked for a seat. We left there and went to the self-seating area and an employee told us we couldn't sit near the bar since we had a child with us. Won't be returning here.

Best place to get tickets in town. In fact, might be the only place to get tickets in town other than Overland Park streets under radar. Besides the tickets, if you are a social person (friends) or antisocial (just games) this place works. The games are fun, and many of them make you feel like you're really there. Add in some drinking, and you'll wake up tired and sore like you actually played tennis for 3 hours...only to realize you were at Dave and Busters, beating your friends in Virtual Tennis. Oh, just fyi, if you're buying a bunch of chips to put on a card for the games, everyone kind of needs their own card.... its a pain supporting a group on one card. D&B doesn't allow people to divide them up (for obvious profit reasons). Overall, lots of fun.

I grew up going to D&B in Chicago, and have also been to locations in Atlanta and...umm...one more, can't remember. This location, however, stinks. It's miniature (picture half the size of a normal D&B), and most of the good games are missing. The restaurant is OK, but in a place with so many restaurants (The Legends), there is really no reason to go here. Last time I was here, they didn't have shuffleboard (the table top variety). I love shuffleboard, and there were many a time growing up that my pops and I would go to D&B near our house in Chicago, grab some food and play shuffleboard...wish I could do that at this one. A man cannot live on billiards alone.

My husband and I both went to two different ones in the past. I went to one in Dallas, TX and he went to one in San Fransisco. Since moving to Wichita (from SE Texas), we've been to Kansas City twice and have gone to Dave and Busters each time. We love it. The food is not the best, though. Hubby said his burger the other day was rather bland. But I enjoyed my bar-b-que chicken. It was a great way to spend a few hours out having fun actually. I definately agree with the comment that said "Chuck E Cheese for adults". It is that! As for "legalized gambling for children".... go to any arcade and you'll see a lot of that. *LOL* What's nice is that they put my accumulated tickets onto my game card so next time we go we can add to them! If you want great food.... go elsewhere. But if you want good food, good service, and a fun time... this is the place to go! Above average bar food, and games for adults and children alike. The bartenders are really, really nice, and the drinks are reasonably priced. As an adult, I appreciate being able to take my Purple People Eater around with me to play arcade games (wait.. that doesn't sound very grown up..). The bathrooms are SPACIOUS and CLEAN. The ticket store is a huge rip-off, but that's to be expected at an arcade. There is lots of parking in the area - I recommend parking on one of the upper levels at the parking garage and taking the walkway to the front door. If you're bored with dinner and a movie, switch it up at Dave & Buster's!

Went here for the first time yesterday and really enjoyed the experience! My meal was the double chicken parm sandwich that came with a side caesar salad. (It was very large) And the Chips, Queso, & Salsa appetizer was $5 --- just kept coming whenever we ran out of chips. My husband and I each got a $10 game card as a meal deal that gave us an hour of neon light fun after the dining. We earned enough tickets to win a shot glass or a coffee mug. I'd call this Chucky Cheese for adults since they serve booze and have a delightfully extensive menu (everything from steak & ribs to sandwiches & salad). We will definitely be traveling into Kansas again in the near future for a little D&B fun!

I've been to a few Dave & Buster's establishments in my life, as well as Jillian's (similar place), and know a few things: 1) The place is going to be loud 2) You probably don't come just for the food 3) Expect large groups 4) You can probably get a similar meal for less elsewhere So, if you come to a place like this with those expectations, you're smart. That being said, I liked the Dave & Busters at Legends. My fiance, who moved to Kansas a few weeks prior to my return from overseas, when there with her folks a few months ago, and said it was a great meal. Admittedly, I was a skeptic. But I generally trust her judgment. Therefore, I went there for lunch last Saturday (on a cold day when folks won't be outside doing stuff - expected a big crowd) with my fiance and an army friend. We each got a beer and some lunch. No wait for a table, good service from our waiter, and, while there were some birthday or other groups there, it was not bad. Beer - pretty standard fare. Nothing very unique or awesome, but a good selection of pedestrian to middle of the road brews. Not going to complain there. Price for a beer was on par with what you'd expect for an adult entertainment place, too. For lunch, we all got different things. Buddy of mine got the buffalo chicken slider meal, Jenn got a chicken salad, and I got an appetizer (sliders, wings, and fries). Thought the wings and sliders were tasty, and the appetizer was enough for a full size meal. In fact, Jenn ate a couple of wings, and I brought two home for a snack later on. We did not play any games - and we were not seated very close to the game area, which was nice. I think if I wanted to play games, I would have fun here. Thought the prices were reasonable, overall (see #4 above). I'll admit I am a little surprised by the negative comments on here about Dave & Buster's. I recommend checking it out for yourself before making a snap judgment. About my only complaint was this - the only restrooms they have are in the gaming area. This makes you walk through the restaurant through the entire game area to the back. Not a major complaint, but I do feel it was worth mentioning.

But if you want some loud, boisterous fun of the shoot-em-up, knock-em-down, get-the-high-score variety, Dave and Busters is your kinda place. You can shoot bad guys. Or blow aliens away. Even obliterate dinosaurs. The popular games are always busy, but if you wait a little while you can get a turn on most of them. And it's worth it -- nothing reduces your stress level quite like eliminating an entire colony of aliens. If you're not a game player, just sit up at the bar and catch some TV while you wait for your family or friends. The drinks aren't that bad.

Sad Sad Sad!!!! What a letdown this place is! If you have ever been to a D&B in another city (Ex. Houston), you know these joints are super fun and can entertain you for hours upon hours. With the KC location literally being 3x as small as the other D&B's, this place is almost totally boring. There were plenty of arcades if bloody guns and violence IMO not appropriate for kids. Not knocking on that, but it makes it hard for me to bring nephews and nieces etc. The car games were fun for a little bit but only enough to keep me entertained for about 10 minutes. Oddly enough even though I suck horribly at basketball, the hoops machine was about the only thing that I enjoyed. It was also much cheaper than the rest of the arcades. Now what totally ruins the deal for me is that out of three separate times I tried to get a table for lunch or dinner, the greeter was ALWAYS yapping off with another associate. Right in front of me and a few people waiting for tables! I mean not even a "hello" or "just a minute" i mean totally failing to acknowledge my presence or the other people waiting for a table was pretty sad. The cherry on top of the cake is this: The food was not that very good. my wife ordered a chicken salad, and it look like the waiter went to McDonald's and bought two McChickens for $2 and sliced it on top of her salad. GROSS. I will admit that they do have pretty good sirloin steaks. We had an all-day company meeting in one of their conference rooms, and we had the teryaki steak. It was so delicious, we actually elected to go with it for dinner! Now if only the rest of the menu was as delicious? Anyway, if you haven't been to D&B's you will be impressed with the place. However if you are like me, and you have visited some of the D&B's elsewhere, you will know why it has such a low rating.

OK, so you have to really understand what Dave and Busters is to correctly rate it. D&B is not a restaurant, it is an Arcade with a restaurant in it. I guarantee that if you asked a person why they came to Dave and Busters it would not solely be for the food. Having said this I feel it is only appropriate to rate this "restaurant" on the whole rather than just on the food. Sure the meals are overpriced, as are the games for that matter, but where else can you get a steak in one part of an arcade and play Time Crisis on the other while ordering drinks at the touch of a button (nowhere else is the answer). The Legends D&B is not the largest I have been to (Philadelphia's is twice as large at least), but it is the only one I know of in the nearest 100 miles. Go to Dave and Buster's if you are looking for a good arcade environment (not too crowded on week days with little kids due to 21 and older policy) and want to grab a bite to eat or a quick drink, but again expect nothing more than Applebees quality food at the restaurant.

I've been going to this location for about 10 years now. As far as food, they have a pretty good menu (although not a huge selection, they have about as many options as Applebee's) and I've never had something I didn't like. The service has mostly been pretty good, nothing that I've ever had to complain about. They always have the latest arcade games, and there's plenty of selection for adults and kids alike. D&B is a great place for date night, girls/guys night out, family night, anything! It's one of my favorite places to have a first date or blind date, as you can break the ice in a fun way without there being awkward silences. As far as cost goes, it's pretty reasonable for food and/or games. Be sure to check out the deals where you can get food and an arcade card with $10+ play credits for a low price.

The business model is brilliant...offer average food, offer above average games, charge above average prices for everything, add kids, and bingo...pull up your cash machine and start filling it. D&B tries real hard presenting good food, but it generally is a hint above average, never had great food, but never had horrible food..."it is" a glorified bar. But we keep coming back, although never on a weekend or night, not worth fighting the crowds, because kids and adults still love trying to kill millions of aliens, or fly a space ship through the galaxy to Mars, or just wanna kill millions of humans to get your initials on the top of the list...we love our escapes and D&B fulfills a big one. Come to think of it, this is one of the last big arcades, places we enjoyed as kids where we used to spend hours pumping quarters into machines trying to eat dots, or explode asteroids, or escape space invaders... The hubby has mentioned Dave & Buster's several times as a place he'd like to check out, so this weekend we made the trek up to the Legends to check it out. First, we stopped in the restaurant for a bite to eat. It took several minutes for the host to show up and by then, a line was starting to form to be seated, although there was lots of seating available. When we were almost at the front of the line, a family barged in front of us and the host chose to go ahead and seat them rather than signaling to us even though we'd been waiting for quite some time. Not the end of the world, but he could have executed this better. Once seated, our waitress was very nice and service was fast. She steered us towards meals that had game cards built into the price at a slight discount on the game cards. My hubby had a meat trio dish that had skewers of chicken, shrimp and something else...I can't recall. He ate all of his dish saying it was "fine." I ordered the Philly Cheese Steak and it was edible, but mostly flavorless. The meat was tender and juicy, but the entire sandwich was lacking in flavor aside from saltiness. My sammy came with fries that were really good. For the quality, our meal was overpriced even if you consider that we got a $10 and a $20 game card out of the deal. Not having been here previously, we really didn't have much of an idea regarding what the games entailed. It seemed like most of them were just games of chance that quickly wiped out credits on your card replacing them with a few "tickets" that were redeemable for stupid crap (cheap toys or stuffed animals) or appetizers at the restaurant. I can see that this place could suck piles of money out of some poor unsuspecting parents. After wandering around the arcade area like lost fools looking for something that might actually be fun to play, we wasted about half the value of our cards, before coming to the realization that it really wasn't much fun in there if you weren't a child. So we found a family and handed them our cards and left. Probably will never return.

After eating at Stix, we decided to take the evening to D&Bs. I challenged my friend Jessie to a game of giant bowling, but she hurt her back last time so it was a no go. Four upper-twenties ladies can have a lot of old fashioned fun at an adult arcade. I love the skee ball, and we spent at least 20 minutes dropping coins into a machine and then the machine pushes coins down and you get tickets. There was a huge bear claw and I couldn't win, but a ten-year-old kid won like three giant stuffed animals and I am pretty sure he did it just to taunt me. The best thing at D&Bs is the photo splising machine that will spew an image of two people's potential child after taking individual pictures of them. We have doen this before and it is hilarious to see the creatures that come out. I say that kindly. I have eaten and D&Bs before and was really suprised that the food was actually good. It is the perfect place to channel your inner arcade nerd.

I normally hate games. Board games, video games, you name it. It's just not a type of competition I enjoy -- probably not helped by the fact I have friends who are TOO competitive and resort to name calling and personal attacks if I do too well by some stroke of luck. That being said, I've had nothing but fun at Dave & Busters. Even on a Friday night, I've gone with my handsome beau and another good friend, and sat at the bar, then just wandered around and played some skee ball, some big game hunter, and virtual bowling. Totally low key, and extra fun because there's booze involved. I've also been for a few parties with my office, and they have always had our table ready when we arrive, and we've had really good service. The food isn't all that bad either. I've had a random assortment of things, including wings, egg rolls and nachos, and it was good quality bar fare. Unless you are spending boucoup bucks, you're not going to get anything too fantastic from the prize room, but they can add your tickets to your card that holds your money/tokens, and you can save them up if you really want that giant Pikachu stuffed animal. All in all, Dave & Busters is an entertaining place to go at Legends, and is really fun, whether you're competitive or not!

First of all, let me say that when we visited D&B's, the weather was crummy. It was a cold, rainy, windy Wednesday this April. So this probably affected our visit. Now that we have that out of the way... time for surgery... I mean the review... My lady and I drove to the Legends for a movie and dinner date. Walked up to D&B's and were told to just find a seat. Sat at a booth. The place was appealing to me. I liked the atmosphere so that was nice. Our waitress was nice enough. We did the meal and game card deal. The lady also had a Boulevard Wheat which was $1 off. Still ended up being just under $6. Yikes. Our meals were fine. I think she had something called chicken rockafeller or something and I had the chicken tenders. They were solid. Presentation was nice, not that I care but just saying. For two dollars more we got a super charge or something on our cards giving us more credits. We also gave a dollar to whatever charity they were hocking on us. When we did that we got a coupon for either $5 in credits or an appetizer. I don't even remember what we chose. All in all the meal was $47.xx, close to $60 after tip. Onto the games... I'll admit, the whole playing games for "credits" thing is confusing to me. On Wednesdays, their games are half price, which is basically the reason I wanted to go on Wednesday in the first place. Standard games you can play for more than 2 minutes are probably the best bet. Games where you basically hit a single button and hope to win a load of tickets were 5.0 credits, games where you typically didn't win as many tickets were 2.9 or 2.1. I hate this system. I wish they'd make it a flat credit amount. The game selection is pretty standard. I noticed there's a lot of games made for mobile phones that were now arcade games. I thought that was weird, but oh well. I went there to play claw/crane games. You know, where you have the claw that you maneuver with the joystick and drop it on stuffed animals and try to grab one. Those games. They had a couple machines that had jewelry and whatnot but had a weak claw, so I didn't play that one too many times, they have their big claw but the prizes were stuffed in too snug to win. The only machine worth playing, in my opinion, is a machine that is one big open case but has 3 joysticks. This machine also stuffed the prizes to make it close to impossible to win. After we discovered this, I decided the best plan of attack was to just try to play the quick one hit of a button/pull of a lever/spin of a wheel games to win tickets and try to get something from the prize cave. The games with the potential to get a lot of tickets are the highest costing since it makes sense for profit. 2 and a half hours and $70 later (the ladyfriend reloaded her card for $10) we left with a set of 90s TV trivia cards that you can probably buy in a mall for $5. It was a fairly enjoyable time. I could see it being more fun with a group of friends on a better night. I actually didn't mind that it was dead since we pretty much had our pick of games whenever we wanted. I'll be giving this place a 2nd chance at some point since I do miss the days of being a kid and going to the arcade but for now, I'm just going to classify D&B's as "OK".

Dave and Buster's have always been one of those places that I fantasize about going to on a Saturday night, it being totally packed, and just ready to take a big group and have a great time. I have not been here for about 2 years and I was so excited to be going out again to this awesome place. When I walked in the doors I had that same thrill I had a couple years ago but slowly that feeling went away. We went to go sit in the game room and there were only about 6 four seater booths and 1 large booth. All of the high top tables were missing and almost every spot was filled. (We had 5 people) Finally we just went ahead and took one of the tall stools and just stuck it on the end of the a booth and called it good. Ok so so far not the best experience but it will be fine once we can get some food and drinks. It took forever to get our waitress to come to our table and still from that point on we still rarely saw her. It was very disappointing that she was not more available. However when she was around she was doing a good job. The food was one of the better points of the night. I loved the the appetizer that we got. We decided to order the pretzel bites. Omgosh they were the most amazing ones I have had and they came with brown mustard, honey mustard, and cheese, so yummy. For my meal I ordered the terriyake sirloin steak. It was amazing! The steak was cooked perfectly and it was so juicy and tender. The mashed potatoes that came with it were amazing too. Very fluffy with cheese and bacon. I also was able to try my husbands parmesean chicken sandwhich which was very good too. I don't like something too breaded and it had the perfect amount of breading. It was delicious. I also tried some of the buffalo chicken sandwhiches and the sweet potatoe fries. I have to say that all the food is really great. I also was really pleased with the games that they had. I only put $35 on my game play card and that lasted me about two maybe two and a half hours. I had a great time running around and just choosing from all of the random games that they have. My experience was overall balanced out between what I had remebered to what they still had and therefore I will probably still come back but next time I think I will just get a seat in the dining room side or at the bar.

Fun place but if they advertise as an adult arcade & restaurant then there should be NO small children running around hogging all the games. The very last thing i want to see is an infant being bottle fed by a game or the bar. If they at least have a time when all kids are to be out, I'd feel better about the place. So games are great but others are really pointless & take up space. I think the credits per game are a bit on the high side too & they don't tell you what a price per credit is like. So you don't really know how many credits you need. The service is fairly friendly but the food is quite average & less than what you expected. Food delivery & table turnover is VERY slow. Once waited 2hrs for dinner entrée.

We took advantage of the Eat and Play combo at the recommendation of our server. He was very informative and wanted us to get the biggest bang our buck! I ordered the Island Grilled Trifecta for $26.99 (which included the $20 power play card). The dish had an abundance of flavor and spiciness which I enjoyed. Happy hour is Mon-Fri from 4:30pm-7pm so that was a nice bonus. We did come across some broken games, but the technician was quick to help and gave us a free game. Overall, this is a fun place to eat, drink and play!

This place was awesome! We pretty much had a three day family reunion here. We had breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Dave and Buster's! Who would've thought? I thought it was only for gaming, but the games did allow the kids to eat and then go play. We were in a banquet room and were able to dance and have a program. I had only been to Dave and Buster's one time before, I wasn't impressed because I don't play games but I now have a different view of Dave and Buster's.

I usually try to bring a coupon and get an eat and play combo which is usually when you spend $15 on dinner, you get $10 towards the arcade. Bar and pool tables for the adults and the arcade is amazing.

Dave & Buster's is a virtual playground for those of all ages, all though I think they want to cater to the adult crowd more than the kiddy crowd. This spot is part restaurant / sports bar and then part arcade. The restaurant's walls (and parts of the ceiling) are covered with tvs that are tuned to any and every game on the docket. While we were there they were tuned to La Liga and English Premier League soccer and Major League Baseball. I bet football season is a trip. The menu was decently thick with varying levels of entrees depending on what you want to spend. It was mostly Americanized comfort food with some Italian offerings sprinkled in. Not bad, but nothing to write home about and little pricier then maybe they should be. The main attraction were the different drink options for the adult customers. Big beers, slushies, craft cocktails and margaritas were all on the menu. All, but one of us had beers, but the one had a couple of margaritas. He said one was good, but sent another back to be remixed because it was too "syrup heavy." Anyway, food for thought. One decent criticism I have concerning the restaurant is how the tables are laid out... or maybe how they are not laid out. When we entered the host gentleman told us to sit anywhere, so we did. Then we found out that somebody was already sitting there, but they were down playing video games while their food was cooking. We moved to another table and ran into the same problem. After playing hopscotch for a bit we finally settled on a table that nobody had claimed. While we were waiting to order one of us went to the restroom, grabbed some paper towels and wrote, "TABLE TAKEN. WE'RE DRINKING AND PLAYING VIDEO GAMES. COME SAY HI IF YOU WANT, PLEASE PLEASE DON'T TAKE OUR TABLE," which we left while our food was cooking. I think Dave & Busters should have some placards to mark whether or not the table was taken or have a host there to verify who is sitting where. Anyway... Now, on to the games. I remember there being more "adult" options before, but times do change. By "adult," I meant maybe some more realistic games such as Batman or Star Wars where you're controlling the characters more or piloting the ships. There now seem to be a raging plethora of racing games, mixed in with some Aliens-type shooting games and old favorites such as skee ball, etc... I kind of wish there might have been some old early 90s games such as X-Men, The Simpsons or even Bad Dudes, but alas, only an old Ms. Pacman. We did have good time on those racing games racing for bragging rights, which we exerted on the ride home. There looks to be an upstairs deck level, which I'm not sure what it contains other than maybe an upstairs bar, but it wasn't open while we were there. To close, Dave & Busters is packed full of fun, but please be aware, you're going to pay for it. Literally and figuratively.

As expected it is pretty pricy. The environment was clean and energetic. The food we received was great! We ordered chocolate fondue as desert- fun for the kids and adults! The food took quite a while, but it was a busy night so I don't fault them for that. Consider a meal plan with tokens included. That is defiantly they way to go.

Bottom Line Up Front: Where adults can act like kids... while drinking adult beverages = a great time. Revamped patio-bar upstairs is awesome. Great drink choices. A lot of food choices of decent quality. I laugh at those who gave this place a bad review based just on the food. If you are going here solely to eat dinner, that's your own fault. The food here is not great but it is not bad. It's like eating at a Chili's or Applebee's. It has an extensive food and drink menu. I've eaten at D&B's at several different locations and I've always had a good experience; their Parmesan chicken alfredo is great, IMO. But, this place serving food is more of a novelty than anything else. They would do well if all they served was alcohol. This location has recently upgraded their decor drastically! It looks awesome inside; very modern and inviting set up with bright white lights as decor and new naming conventions for specific areas. The new games are great, too. Red Cup challenge (beer pong)? Hell ya. Such an awesome game and I am jealous I was not the one who created this gem. It is also hysterical watching kids play and talking to their parents about how they don't even know they are practicing for 10-15 years down the line. The different amount of games offered here can be overwhelming at times. Just load that card up with $56 and go to town. I wish I lived closer to this place so I can come here on Wednesday's since all the games are half off. Oh, how I miss my college days in Houston. I got my iPod Touch and Xbox 360 from here... thanks to one game that my friend and I figured out how to win all the time. On top of all the games, the drinks here are awesome. The new watermelon coronarita's are a must try if you like Corona's and/or margaritas. Another thing that's new is they finally started promoting their upstairs patio-bar. I've been up there once and was very surprised at how it looked. Lounge chairs overlooking the balcony, high tops scattered everywhere, and three free pool tables. Live music on the weekends, too. The patio is only for those 21 and up which is nice. You can't really go wrong with this place. Sucks for those who had a bad experience. Maybe I am a true kid at heart and still find these games to be exciting to play with friends and understand that the food here isn't going to blow my mind. Plus, I can have a drink in my hand while I act like a kid again. The games become more fun too after a few drinks. If you're in the Legends area, come check this place out, especially if you are 21 or older.

Lunch with my son today. I had the rib and chicken plate. He had the shrimp, steak and chicken kabob. Both of the meals were good considering we didn't expect great for the setting. We were both actually surprised. Very nice sports themed bar when you first enter. High quality tvs and clean, modern look. Great environment for families, kids and adults. There was some kind of disaster in the men's room today due to a plumbing problem. And the smell was pretty bad. I'm pretty certain this was an anomaly. Overall good time. If you're going to game, do the combo play with your meal.

Not bad. If you've been to a Dave and Busters before .. it's like like any other. The food was good, the restaurant and gaming place is kid friendly, and they have multiple games on the TV by the bar. Your traditional shuffle boards are present and most games are adult oriented (not in a NC-17 way). The service at the bar and food area were quick and everybody was attentive to our needs. I wish they didn't put us in a very small table at the restaurant when there are other bug tables available but I guess one can always ask to switch to a different table if it bothers them. The place is clean and we'll appointed. 3 stars for making customers wait at the front, overcrowded, and arcade selection. Not bad and will most likely will return.

I am a fan because when I don't feel like entertaining the kids. We come here to play. I can relax and the kids have fun. The food is good but the games are what we really go for. We have never been to a Dave & Buster's. I have to say the experience was outstanding! Our server was attentive and made sure drinks were topped off, plates were removed, etc. the manager stopped by our table a couple of times to make sure we were doing well. The restaurant was very clean. It was a busy Friday night, but we never had to wait. A word of advice...if you are going to stay and play the games, purchase more credits than you think you will need. They go fast. We are huge fans and will DEFINITELY be back.

They said the ultimate mac N cheese had no onions but it did. They made it right and the manager even came to apologize even though it wasn't a big deal but they were awesome. What a fun night. This place is all about ambience. If you are in the mood for noise, bright lights, lots of action, games, laughing and music, then it's great. Luckily that mood hits me a few times a year and I always thoroughly enjoy myself. Came here to celebrate a friends birthday and we three girls had a blast. Started off with lunch and then moved on to some gaming. I had the buffalo chicken sliders (They have a cute-sy name for them, but I've forgotten it already) and thought they were perfect. Another friend had the fried chicken strips and brought half of them home because the serving was really generous. Our birthday girl chose to have the apple pecan salad and kept raving about it. Pretty much standard bar food, up to par with Applebees. We burned through our gaming cards pretty quickly (it's easy to do that since all the games have different 'credit costs'). Some games give tickets, others do not. In the end the three of us were able to redeem our credits for one roll of Sweet Tarts. Ha! Just realize going in that you're definitely here for the fun of it, not the prizes!

Dave & Buster's is a fun distraction on occasion. The food is decent kind of on the Applebee's level, but pricier. Service is pretty good. The burgers are okay and the fries are decent. Club sandwich is pretty good too. We've been here a few times, twice for work parties, a few more times just killing time waiting for a movie to start or waiting for friends. The games are a lot of fun and they have a variety. They have games that are more adult driven like the shooter games and racing games. They also have the games for small children and teenagers. Like most arcades you can accumulate tickets and turn the in for a variety of prizes. They have glass tumblers, magic eight balls, other random stuff you would find an arcade. The staff both in the restaurant and in the arcade are good. They keep drinks fullnin the bar and restaurant area. If you have an issue with the game not accepting tokens or taking the tokens and not letting you play they will reset the game and give you your tokens back. I recommend this place just to kill a few hours or have some fun, it is family-friendly.

I think it has been literally 10 years since I stepped foot inside a D&B. A super cool concept to the 20s me, it's not a place that 30s me ever thinks to head to. I was, however, meeting a friend out near KCK and this is one of the fewer places open late on a weeknight. There were some absurdly cheap happy hour prices in effect (after 9pm, I think?) and I did what I wanted to do: play pool (badly) on a very nice table.

Dana the hostess was in a foul mood. She tried to seat us at a table too small for our party. When we pointed out a bigger table she mumbled under her breath and angrily snatched the silverware from the table and lumbered over to the appropriately sized table. Our server was unfamiliar with the menu and we had to point out options that were listed that she did not know about. When the food came, my double cheeseburger came with no cheese! When asked about this, she said she couldn't remember if I wanted cheese on it. She then put cold cheese on it and it was pretty bad. The game selection was pretty cool and we all had fun. However, 1 in 3 games had a problem. On one game, the gun was not aligned, so pointing to the far left of the screen put the crosshairs at the left 1/3 mark of the screen. Pointing to the right of the game cause the crosshairs to show up on the left. Another game had a Signal Lost message in the middle of the screen during the whole game. The Frogger game was glitchy and the jump button did not work properly. And so forth. The bar in the game room was not open, so I had to walk to the restaurant to get a beer. We ended up having a pretty good time, but we certainly did not feel welcome and the proprietors did not seem to care about quality, appearance, or training.

I went to Dave & Buster's to celebrate a birthday. We sat in the bar area and had dinner. The food is expensive for the quality, but it makes it a little better when you get the food on the menu where you get a play card too. The games have got expensive as well. There are some fun ones but it seems like they are spreading them out more so that there are not as many as before. All in all, it's good for every once in a great while...but I couldn't see making this a regular thing as it's just not worth it.

Since I'm inherently stupid, I tried to give D&B another chance (see my previous review, wherever the hell it is). The entire staff seemed to be competing finalists in a reality TV show along the lines of "America's Least Interested People." Gaining the attention of servers and hostesses was almost as impossible as telephoning the sun and convincing it to set sooner. Their food was served hot, but, once more, credit goes more towards the microwave responsible. Again, I'm not kidding about this restaurant's fascination with tossing objects into microwaves; I suspect they don't even employ chefs, just a big-ass conveyor belt that feeds everything directly into Ron Popeil's Food Zapper 2000. Nearly every person working there seemed more interested in talking with each other than communicating with paying customers. I had to practically throw roadside flares to attract any employee's attention. Tables were dirty, wet from the diseased rags used to displace remnant food chunks, and the white tile floor looked like it had last been mopped during the Carter administration. The men's room was festively decorated with urine puddles and doors lacking locks. On the plus side, many customers have apparently chosen to abandon their cups of beer in strategic locations around every toilet, so if you're looking to save money and get drunk while taking a dump, D&B's got ya covered. Heck, I'm sure they'll throw in a free case of hepatitis for you at absolutely no charge. The only reason I'm giving this two stars as opposed to one is solely due to the fact that I wasn't murdered at any point in time during my meal.

Dave and Busters has always been a great place to have fun with friends or family and while I did have fun here, the food was not good. Service was decent and was the only reason that this D&B got two stars instead of one. The Food: I ordered the Island Trifecta. The menu described and pictured the meal as three beef steak medallions skewered and wrapped in bacon, 6 skewered pieces of shrimp, and two skewered chicken tenderloins, with sides of seasoned rice and a vegetable medley. What I received instead were two strips of chicken and six pieces of shrimp as ordered, three tiny pieces of beef, not steak medallions and not wrapped in bacon. The rice had so many different seasonings in it that it tasted bitter. I couldn't even swallow it. The vegetable medley was actually a vegetable medley salsa, also not as pictured. The Entertainment: The entertainment at D&B was great and I had a lot of fun. You should expect to shell out a pretty nice chuck of change to play for a while, but if you're with friends it can be worth it. The prices are a little high and the prizes aren't amazing, but as I say it can be worth it with friends. The Verdict: I will return to Dave and Busters, and enjoy myself. I will not, however, get anything more complicated than a hamburger.

This was my first visit and it was a work function in the 'party room.' Based on my experience i would not go back again to Dave & Busters. It looks nice from the outside and the Chuck E. Cheese for adults theme was interesting but the food was below average in quality and above average in price. The service was only so-so. There's not much to recommend this place unless you are a fan of arcade type games. As one of my co-workers commented, Oceans of Fun is more fun and less expensive. Enough said.

I've been to Dave & Buster's a few times now and each experience has been different. Drink prices are pretty steep and they don't seem to really have specials unless I went on "off" nights. The games are great but you need a bajillion tickets in order to get a cool prize unless you want a pencil or a ring pop. I've been on a weekend night when the weather was nice and we were able to enjoy live music on the roof top patio and the band was really pretty good! Here is where my issue is and it occurred on my most recent visit. I think there needs to be a "curfew" for kids under 18 in this place. It was 10 PM on a weekend night and there were 2 and 3 year olds running all over the place and pretending to play games. I shouldn't have to wait to play skeeball because your kid is pretending to play when they should be home in bed. I have nothing against kids at Dave & Buster's but there needs to be boundaries and rules set in place. I don't think it's a proper place for kids to be after a certain time. I have fun here and there is always something to do, but it can be pricey so it's not an every weekend thing.

Games were awesome! I took kids from ages 7-15 and we all had a great time, even the adults. The food on the other had is something to be desired. The meat was tough and other dishes were just not that great. My kids had the chicken strips and those were pretty good. So if you go, get the simple food and play on the games. You will have a lot of fun.

Who needs alcohol? Dave and Buster's gets you drunk on FUN! Ok, ok. That's not my real review, but if it was I feel like Dave and Buster's should pay me for it. Last night a group of us heading to D&Bs for a friends birthday party, I haven't been to a Dave and Busters in I don't know how long, so I was kind of excited to let my inner child out and play arcade games for long hours. We ate first, which proved to be a mediocre experience. All of us at the table did one of the deals where you get a meal and a game card at a discount. I chose a 20.00 game card + entree which brought my total to 24.99 (instead of paying 12.00 for an entree and then purchasing a 20.00 game card separately). I'm glad I went that direction because my food didn't taste like it should be worth more than 4.99, no flavor at all. I don't think anyone at the table was satisfied with the way their food tasted. The only good thing about our dining experience was our server, Sarah, she is the reason this review isn't two stars. She joked around with us, always made sure our needs were met, and was all around great at her job. The games were fun, I ended up adding another $20.00 to my card (against the wishes of my mom's voice inside my head telling me to be wise with my money - ha). Not much else to say, I spent $40.00 on arcade games and walked away with a coffee mug that is probably only worth $3.00. Overall, it was a fun experience. If I come here again, I will probably choose to dine somewhere else ahead of time.

I have been here twice as a pit stop after getting off work. The first time was a one-and-done scenario. I tried the Green Tea Long Island and thought it was pretty tasty. The service was good and there were plenty of TVs behind the bar for me to catch up on the latest sports scores and news. The second time...well, let's just call it a joke. A co-worker came with me this time after I bragged about the Green Tea Long Island. We sit down and a young lady behind the bar walks up and says, "We are done serving." Not "Hello", "I'm sorry", "Try so-n-so around the corner who is open until 2AM", or anything remotely inviting or professional. As soon as she gave us the lay down of the law, a voice comes on over the loudspeaker and says, "Last call, we close in 15 minutes". Nice! So, we order our drinks. My buddy asks for 2 draft beers and I order the Green Tea Long Island. Another bartender pours my buddy's beers and brings them over, I am still sitting at the bar with a beverage napkin in front of me. The lady turns around and tells my buddy VERBALLY how much his 2 beers are and then tell me how much my drink is. Seriously? You are going to try to suck the money out of my pocket for the drink before I suck any of the drink out of a straw? After all, I have been here before...why are you verbalizing the drink prices to me instead of giving me a check? That's kind of shady to ask me to pay for a drink that I haven't even gotten yet. I promptly cancelled my drink order and let the young lady know that she is one of the rudest bartenders I have ever encountered. I ended up helping my buddy drink one of his beers and the other female bartender was helpful in telling us there was a sports bar down the street which was open until 2AM. On my way out the door I let the 2 managers at the host stand know what just happened. I am sorry you are barely 21 and your piss poor mood and whatever else is preoccupying your mind is more important than the main directive of your job...to give prompt and courteous service with high quality drinks and build a raving fan base. You missed on ALL marks young lady. If it weren't for my first trip being a favorable experience, this review would have been a whopping one star rating without a doubt.

I usually come here for the games. C'mon, everybody loves the nostalgic atmosphere of nearly impossible to win arcade games. It's fun. I enjoy embracing my inner child. Yet, I tend to not order food here. I don't know why, might be because I'm too distracted trying to fill the void in my childhood by winning prizes now! Although, I usually just walk away with a few pieces of candy. Nothing special, but the experience is always great.

As an arcade, we had a blast! But, as a restaurant, there were some issues. Our server was slightly absent for most of the evening, and my friend's steak was unimpressive. Also, make sure if you're going to eat, that you either do it towards the end of your evening or have somewhere to put your food (like back out in the car). The bar service was good as well and it seemed like the drink specials were worth it.

Samantha made a good call with the drinks being expensive and watered down. The bartenders also weren't the greatest either, they took a long time to get to us, even though it wasn't that busy and no one else was really in line. The bar was all wet and got my sleeve wet (NOT cool!). The top bar that is 21+ is pretty cool and casual, but the drinks were about the same- watered down. It's cool to watch everyone since you are on the 2nd floor, but it got old after a while. So we went back down to the arcade part and attempted to play some games. It just wasn't that fun...it was more creepy than anything because it was filled more with guys who probably still live in their parents' basement and have no job than the working-class happy hour crowd. We also got hit on by some high schoolers, and my friend made up this entire story about how we both we in high school too (which is sad that they believed it, since I'm 22 and had a drink in my hand) and that we were cheerleaders. It was funny, but sad at the same time and we finally were able to get away from them. The 'prizes' for winning the games are regular arcade prizes- cheesy rings, cards, and other assorted items you'll completely forget you have once you get home. It would have been cooler if they had more 'adult' prizes, like booze...or...booze, but I guess I'll just have to keep on dreamin'.

This was my first time going to a Dave and busters, so I was excited and ready to have fun. I was overwhelmed when i saw all the games that this place had to offer ( hey I'm a kid at heart and i love games). This feeling didn't last very long after we waited a ridiculous amount of time for our server. When she finally arrived she neglected to ask a member of our party for their drink order, and then disappeared. We almost had to trip her as she walked by at one point, just to get her to notice us. The food itself wasn't bad, but it honestly wasn't that great. I had the Parmesan Chicken sandwich, and honestly I've had almost the exact same that tasted the same, back in Highschool from the cafeteria. The french fries were... fries, what can I say, they were bad but weren't great. Now on to the whole reason everyone comes... The games. This place does have a lot of fun games, and the best part about the games is that they're affordable. I've been to other places like this and most other places charge you the equivalent of $2 per play, but here the most expensive game is around $1 a play. So, even if you have a bad food experience, you can have fun playing the games. To make a long list of ramblings, short and to the point. This place doesn't live up to the hype. The staff is non existent, the food is average, but the games are fun. If you want average food that you can find at a high school cafeteria, service that leaves you wanting more, and a gaming experience that can't compensate for the lack of the first two, then this is the place for you.

Love this place. I like how it's kept nice and clean and you are always greeted at the door. The staff are very friendly and we love the food. I am a huge fan of the "Mountain of nachos" The best nachos you can get.

Went there and met some friends in the bar area. Service: In a word, slow. For no apparent reason either. There was one other table and maybe three people at the bar. I asked for the price of something, but the waitress didn't know. She went to check and never came back with an answer. She was nice, but just inexperienced I think. Food: The hot wings were a little mushy and there weren't many fries. Drinks: I had rum and Cokes. The first one was stout. After that I tasted less and less of the Rum. Not saying they watered them down. I'm just saying the strength varied quite a bit. The barkeeper seemed inexperienced to me so maybe that was it. I think maybe they're just relying on the games for return service, but I'm not much for those games.

I am almost embarrassed to write this review. Please note: It was not my decision to go to Dave & Buster's. It's a long story, but I was forced. I'm not sure how it's possible to ruin cheese dip and tortilla chips, but congratulations, D&B...you've made the impossible, possible. I didn't even order food after the appetizer experience. Too scared. Anyway, if you go to D&B, you know what you're getting yourself into. Good thing I love skee-ball. Otherwise this would have been a complete disaster.

Dave and Busterâs is a giant restaurant, bar and arcade; it literally has something for everyone. I went to Dave and Busterâs recently and I had a great time, the food is delicious and the drinks are modestly priced, but the main attraction was the giant arcade that allotted my friends and I hours of fun. The way Dave and Busterâs arcade works, is that you buy a plastic card and fill it with points that you pay for. The more you buy at once, the better deal you get, and that way if you donât use them all you can keep the card and come back another time. Convenient and brilliant at the same time. The arcade in Dave and Busterâs is the biggest one Iâve ever seen. There are video games, interactive games, and gambling games. There are photo booths, group games, and life-sized âclawâ game where you try to win stuffed animals bigger than you. But if you want to find the true treasure of Dave and Busterâs, itâs a little game called âflaming Finger.â This simple, yet amazingly fun game is awesome. You put your card in and a screen of lighted dots will reveal a path. One the game starts you put your finger in the path and travel inside it, trying to get to the finish line as quickly as possible, racing a timer. If you go outside the path the time speeds up and near the end, time speeds up. We played that game for a good hour and only once did one of us finish. It is fun and difficult, but if you do succeed you are blessed with a very large sum of tickets, to buy any under priced, high-quality item form the prize shop you can afford!

When you think Dave and Busters it should put a BIG smile on your face! Well they have a lot of work to do at this one! My review is based on the restaurant, and gaming area......Pros: I won 500 tickets on the big wheel! There are a ton of games to choose from. The staff was friendly. Complimentary brownie if its your birthday. Memories are free! Cons: There is no red wine although its on the menu...The food wasn't the best quality, and they were very stingy. We ordered the loaded queso, and they gave us a portion of chips that was smaller than those that come out of a vending machine. I ordered the chicken tacos, and the bf ordered the steak ones. They came out with enough cheese to make you look at each other and go there kidding right? There wasn't enough to make one taco let alone the four. The chicken did not stay hot long enough so by the time you made all four tacos they where cold which made them taste bad. The cost for the meals and to play was extremely high given the quality of the food. My best advice is skip the food! Two stars for the fun one star for the food!

Our first visit will be the last (at this location). There were plenty of tables open in the full-seating area (but they told us we'd have to wait 20 minutes even though there was no one else waiting). And...the ladies at the front were talking to each other instead of taking care of us (we waited several minutes before we interrupted them and asked for a seat. We left there and went to the self-seating area and an employee told us we couldn't sit near the bar since we had a child with us. Won't be returning here.

This place is great! Lots of games to choose from. Wednesdays are half price days - great time to go. The food is alright. Your tickets accumulate on your D&B card, so you dont have to turn them in right away. If you sign up with their website they will send you coupons for free appetizers, games, etc.

Best place to get tickets in town. In fact, might be the only place to get tickets in town other than Overland Park streets under radar. Besides the tickets, if you are a social person (friends) or antisocial (just games) this place works. The games are fun, and many of them make you feel like you're really there. Add in some drinking, and you'll wake up tired and sore like you actually played tennis for 3 hours...only to realize you were at Dave and Busters, beating your friends in Virtual Tennis. Oh, just fyi, if you're buying a bunch of chips to put on a card for the games, everyone kind of needs their own card.... its a pain supporting a group on one card. D&B doesn't allow people to divide them up (for obvious profit reasons). Overall, lots of fun.

I went to Dave and Buster's for the first time a few weeks ago. I've always heard it was fun so I gathered some friends and off we went! The atmosphere is ok, but the service was slow and the food was mediocre at best. Even the games were just ok. We had fun, but next time I think I'll save myself the drive to Legends and just play XBox at home.

I grew up going to D&B in Chicago, and have also been to locations in Atlanta and...umm...one more, can't remember. This location, however, stinks. It's miniature (picture half the size of a normal D&B), and most of the good games are missing. The restaurant is OK, but in a place with so many restaurants (The Legends), there is really no reason to go here. Last time I was here, they didn't have shuffleboard (the table top variety). I love shuffleboard, and there were many a time growing up that my pops and I would go to D&B near our house in Chicago, grab some food and play shuffleboard...wish I could do that at this one. A man cannot live on billiards alone.

My husband and I both went to two different ones in the past. I went to one in Dallas, TX and he went to one in San Fransisco. Since moving to Wichita (from SE Texas), we've been to Kansas City twice and have gone to Dave and Busters each time. We love it. The food is not the best, though. Hubby said his burger the other day was rather bland. But I enjoyed my bar-b-que chicken. It was a great way to spend a few hours out having fun actually. I definately agree with the comment that said "Chuck E Cheese for adults". It is that! As for "legalized gambling for children".... go to any arcade and you'll see a lot of that. *LOL* What's nice is that they put my accumulated tickets onto my game card so next time we go we can add to them! If you want great food.... go elsewhere. But if you want good food, good service, and a fun time... this is the place to go! Oh and if you like to watch people, like I do... this is awesome for that too!

Above average bar food, and games for adults and children alike. The bartenders are really, really nice, and the drinks are reasonably priced. As an adult, I appreciate being able to take my Purple People Eater around with me to play arcade games (wait.. that doesn't sound very grown up..). The bathrooms are SPACIOUS and CLEAN. The ticket store is a huge rip-off, but that's to be expected at an arcade. There is lots of parking in the area - I recommend parking on one of the upper levels at the parking garage and taking the walkway to the front door. If you're bored with dinner and a movie, switch it up at Dave & Buster's!

Went here for the first time yesterday and really enjoyed the experience! My meal was the double chicken parm sandwich that came with a side caesar salad. (It was very large) And the Chips, Queso, & Salsa appetizer was $5 --- just kept coming whenever we ran out of chips. My husband and I each got a $10 game card as a meal deal that gave us an hour of neon light fun after the dining. We earned enough tickets to win a shot glass or a coffee mug. I'd call this Chucky Cheese for adults since they serve booze and have a delightfully extensive menu (everything from steak & ribs to sandwiches & salad). We will definitely be traveling into Kansas again in the near future for a little D&B fun!

I've been to a few Dave & Buster's establishments in my life, as well as Jillian's (similar place), and know a few things: 1) The place is going to be loud 2) You probably don't come just for the food 3) Expect large groups 4) You can probably get a similar meal for less elsewhere So, if you come to a place like this with those expectations, you're smart. That being said, I liked the Dave & Busters at Legends. My fiance, who moved to Kansas a few weeks prior to my return from overseas, when there with her folks a few months ago, and said it was a great meal. Admittedly, I was a skeptic. But I generally trust her judgment. Therefore, I went there for lunch last Saturday (on a cold day when folks won't be outside doing stuff - expected a big crowd) with my fiance and an army friend. We each got a beer and some lunch. No wait for a table, good service from our waiter, and, while there were some birthday or other groups there, it was not bad. Beer - pretty standard fare. Nothing very unique or awesome, but a good selection of pedestrian to middle of the road brews. Not going to complain there. Price for a beer was on par with what you'd expect for an adult entertainment place, too. For lunch, we all got different things. Buddy of mine got the buffalo chicken slider meal, Jenn got a chicken salad, and I got an appetizer (sliders, wings, and fries). Thought the wings and sliders were tasty, and the appetizer was enough for a full size meal. In fact, Jenn ate a couple of wings, and I brought two home for a snack later on. We did not play any games - and we were not seated very close to the game area, which was nice. I think if I wanted to play games, I would have fun here. Thought the prices were reasonable, overall (see #4 above). I'll admit I am a little surprised by the negative comments on here about Dave & Buster's. I recommend checking it out for yourself before making a snap judgment. About my only complaint was this - the only restrooms they have are in the gaming area. This makes you walk through the restaurant through the entire game area to the back. Not a major complaint, but I do feel it was worth mentioning.

The drinks are expensive and watered down. The food is ordinary and pricey. Don't go to Dave & Busters for either. But if you want some loud, boisterous fun of the shoot-em-up, knock-em-down, get-the-high-score variety, Dave and Busters is your kinda place. You can shoot bad guys. Or blow aliens away. Even obliterate dinosaurs. The popular games are always busy, but if you wait a little while you can get a turn on most of them. And it's worth it -- nothing reduces your stress level quite like eliminating an entire colony of aliens. If you're not a game player, just sit up at the bar and catch some TV while you wait for your family or friends. The drinks aren't that bad.

Sad Sad Sad!!!! What a letdown this place is! If you have ever been to a D&B in another city (Ex. Houston), you know these joints are super fun and can entertain you for hours upon hours. With the KC location literally being 3x as small as the other D&B's, this place is almost totally boring. There were plenty of arcades if bloody guns and violence IMO not appropriate for kids. Not knocking on that, but it makes it hard for me to bring nephews and nieces etc. The car games were fun for a little bit but only enough to keep me entertained for about 10 minutes. Oddly enough even though I suck horribly at basketball, the hoops machine was about the only thing that I enjoyed. It was also much cheaper than the rest of the arcades. Now what totally ruins the deal for me is that out of three separate times I tried to get a table for lunch or dinner, the greeter was ALWAYS yapping off with another associate. Right in front of me and a few people waiting for tables! I mean not even a "hello" or "just a minute" i mean totally failing to acknowledge my presence or the other people waiting for a table was pretty sad. The cherry on top of the cake is this: The food was not that very good. my wife ordered a chicken salad, and it look like the waiter went to McDonald's and bought two McChickens for $2 and sliced it on top of her salad. GROSS. I will admit that they do have pretty good sirloin steaks. We had an all-day company meeting in one of their conference rooms, and we had the teryaki steak. It was so delicious, we actually elected to go with it for dinner! Now if only the rest of the menu was as delicious? Anyway, if you haven't been to D&B's you will be impressed with the place. However if you are like me, and you have visited some of the D&B's elsewhere, you will know why it has such a low rating.

First off it was not my decision to go here but I gave in thinking it couldn't be worse then Applebee's right? Wrong. To start off some where between our appetizer and entree our waitress disappeared and some other guy was walking around. After eyeing our table a few times and noticing our empty beer glasses he finally came over and asked if there was something he could do for us. The food itself blah!! I know I should not have had such high expectations but I did. Now after we ate went down and played a few games. Since we were in town to visit a friend not sure if we will ever end up at D&B's again.

OK, so you have to really understand what Dave and Busters is to correctly rate it. D&B is not a restaurant, it is an Arcade with a restaurant in it. I guarantee that if you asked a person why they came to Dave and Busters it would not solely be for the food. Having said this I feel it is only appropriate to rate this "restaurant" on the whole rather than just on the food. Sure the meals are overpriced, as are the games for that matter, but where else can you get a steak in one part of an arcade and play Time Crisis on the other while ordering drinks at the touch of a button (nowhere else is the answer). The Legends D&B is not the largest I have been to (Philadelphia's is twice as large at least), but it is the only one I know of in the nearest 100 miles. Go to Dave and Buster's if you are looking for a good arcade environment (not too crowded on week days with little kids due to 21 and older policy) and want to grab a bite to eat or a quick drink, but again expect nothing more than Applebees quality food at the restaurant.

Go Wednesday night! All the games are 50% off and you have a ton of fun for cheap. My wife and I both love video games. So, we naturally have a ton of fun when we go. I suggest playing the group games and not focusing on winning tickets. Because it's really hard to win anything substantial.

Ok. I'm not going to lie... I did not want to go to this place. We were looking for dinner and It seemed kinda dumb to me to go here. I though it would be that crappy food you get in touristy places, but it wasn't. It was good. The adult beverages were pretty good too. We didn't play in the arcade, but we cruised through. Seemed like a fun place to have s little dinner and some fun.

The cocktails are on the pricey side for the amount that you get. Also, ordered the calamari for our appetizer, which they charge $10 for and it was mostly fried onions (some with a vinegar aftertaste) with some calamari on top. Definitely not worth the price. The cheesesteak was really good, as was the kc strip although it was slightly undercooked. Our waitress was inattentive and we had to ask three times for a power play menu.

I've been going to this location for about 10 years now. As far as food, they have a pretty good menu (although not a huge selection, they have about as many options as Applebee's) and I've never had something I didn't like. The service has mostly been pretty good, nothing that I've ever had to complain about. They always have the latest arcade games, and there's plenty of selection for adults and kids alike. D&B is a great place for date night, girls/guys night out, family night, anything! It's one of my favorite places to have a first date or blind date, as you can break the ice in a fun way without there being awkward silences. As far as cost goes, it's pretty reasonable for food and/or games. Be sure to check out the deals where you can get food and an arcade card with $10+ play credits for a low price.

The business model is brilliant...offer average food, offer above average games, charge above average prices for everything, add kids, and bingo...pull up your cash machine and start filling it. D&B tries real hard presenting good food, but it generally is a hint above average, never had great food, but never had horrible food..."it is" a glorified bar. But we keep coming back, although never on a weekend or night, not worth fighting the crowds, because kids and adults still love trying to kill millions of aliens, or fly a space ship through the galaxy to Mars, or just wanna kill millions of humans to get your initials on the top of the list...we love our escapes and D&B fulfills a big one. Come to think of it, this is one of the last big arcades, places we enjoyed as kids where we used to spend hours pumping quarters into machines trying to eat dots, or explode asteroids, or escape space invaders... Omg...I'm wasting valuable gaming time...gotta go and try and kill something...I love this place...lol...still a kid...

The food was satisfactory. The restrooms were a mess. I complained to a manager. 45 minutes later I returned to the restrooms and they still hadn't cleaned then. The games were new and nice but I was so turned off by the restrooms I might not return.

The hubby has mentioned Dave & Buster's several times as a place he'd like to check out, so this weekend we made the trek up to the Legends to check it out. First, we stopped in the restaurant for a bite to eat. It took several minutes for the host to show up and by then, a line was starting to form to be seated, although there was lots of seating available. When we were almost at the front of the line, a family barged in front of us and the host chose to go ahead and seat them rather than signaling to us even though we'd been waiting for quite some time. Not the end of the world, but he could have executed this better. Once seated, our waitress was very nice and service was fast. She steered us towards meals that had game cards built into the price at a slight discount on the game cards. My hubby had a meat trio dish that had skewers of chicken, shrimp and something else...I can't recall. He ate all of his dish saying it was "fine." I ordered the Philly Cheese Steak and it was edible, but mostly flavorless. The meat was tender and juicy, but the entire sandwich was lacking in flavor aside from saltiness. My sammy came with fries that were really good. For the quality, our meal was overpriced even if you consider that we got a $10 and a $20 game card out of the deal. Not having been here previously, we really didn't have much of an idea regarding what the games entailed. It seemed like most of them were just games of chance that quickly wiped out credits on your card replacing them with a few "tickets" that were redeemable for stupid crap (cheap toys or stuffed animals) or appetizers at the restaurant. I can see that this place could suck piles of money out of some poor unsuspecting parents. After wandering around the arcade area like lost fools looking for something that might actually be fun to play, we wasted about half the value of our cards, before coming to the realization that it really wasn't much fun in there if you weren't a child. So we found a family and handed them our cards and left. Probably will never return.
